I work with Michael and was excited to find out he goes to Burning Man. I have wanted to go for a long time and was not sure how I was exactly going to do it. I bought my ticket recently and am excited to be going this year. Looking forward to meeting everyone!

Hey melodie! Glad to have somebody else coming! I'm Michael's sister Jessica.
Has Michael talked to you about your travel plans? I think he might be flying out this year, and it's probably a pretty good idea. They've got a bus from Reno you can take into the Man. Since we've got some much equipment (domes, H20 etc.) somebody is going to have to drive a trailer. My hubby and I have a truck and we rented a trailer last year, and will probably do so again this year. We'll just split the total of hauling out the stuff and you'll be able to fly very lightly (which is ideal, and you don't have to worry about finding H20 in reno!). Our camp has really evolved over the last couple years and is pretty fantastic now. We have 2 domes, and last year had a third shade structure that Bicho made into a bar. We set up our tents in the surrounding area and the domes are community property. We've got a little kitchen set up, a pretty decent shower structure, 2 big folding tables, and plan on making more slotted furniture (another pluton at least!) for the domes. We have most of the required things already for our camp, but make sure you have a bike (also to be shipped out) and a camelback of some sort. I'm sure Michael has told you most of this stuff before, but if you've any questions email or comment. Glad to have another lady!
